Dispute regarding enforceability of the promissory notes

Representing a Ukrainian subsidiary of a global grain trader in a case against a major Ukrainian state-owned agricultural company regarding the enforceability of USD 4 million promissory notes held by our client. The plaintiff, having issued the promissory notes to pay for the grain supplied by our client, upon the due dates challenged the legality of the protest and other actions the notary public did to collect the debt. The claim was fully dismissed by the court
