Tax dispute

Vasil Kisil & Partners successfully represented the interests of Imperial Tobacco Production Ukraine in dispute with the tax authorities regarding alleged violations of Ukrainian tax legislation.

VKP’s lawyers successfully resolved this dispute in the local court, as well as appellate and Superior Administrative Court of Ukraine.

The VKP team proved to the administrative courts of all instances that the tobacco factory deducted royalties paid to Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH into expenses under the sub-license agreement in full accordance with the tax laws of Ukraine.
